Clinical Administrator

We are seeking a Clinical Administrator to be part of our Clinical Support Service which is the first port of call for young people or parents wishing to use our services. You will be responsible for all office and reception administrative systems and for providing an efficient and effective support service for Open Door’s clinical services.

We therefore require someone who can work under pressure in a demanding environment and has a good understanding of the importance of a client focussed service. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and customer care skills as well as being IT literate

Salary: TBC

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours pw (Monday to Thursday)

Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist/ Clinical Nurse Specialist/ CBT therapist

·         This is an exciting opportunity for a talented clinician who is passionate about mental provision for young people, and interested in improving access to mental health support for young people in Haringey.

·         The post holder will work 18.75 hours per week (2.5 days) predominantly in the Intake and Assessment Team, delivering a range of clinical assessments as part of our new Building Resilience Project. This may include guided self-help, psycho-education, supporting the use of appropriate online resources, delivering brief interventions and groups.

·         This post is linked to NHS England’s 4 Week Waiting Time Pilot, part of Haringey’s successful bid to become one of 25 national  Trailblazer Sites arising from the Green Paper, Transforming Child Mental Health (Dec 2017). The successful candidate will play a key role in improving access to Open Door’s therapy services.

·         This post is open to Clinical/Counselling Psychologists/CBT therapists and Clinical Nurse Specialists accredited by the BPS/NMC/BABCP/HCPC/UKCP/BACP (as relevant) and with relevant experience.

(This is a 2 year fixed-term contract with the expectation of extension).

Salary: fixed salary between £33,300 and £38,434 (pro rata) (depending on qualification and experience).
