Exciting employment opportunity in a dynamic voluntary sector service – Open Door is seeking a Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist
Open Door is an NHS commissioned voluntary sector service based in Haringey, North London, providing a range of therapeutic services for young people aged 12-24. We form part of the Haringey CAMHS pathway for 12-18-year olds. We offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, third wave informed CBT, trauma focussed CBT, EMDR and psycho-education. We also have a service for parents and carers. We deliver services from premises in Crouch End and Tottenham, in secondary schools and online.
Open Door is currently recruiting to the post of Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist to undertake a range of clinical work with young people between the ages of 12 and 24 and to provide leadership and supervision for a small team of Psychologists, Emotional Wellbeing Practitioners and school counsellors. They will also deliver treatment and clinical supervision in Open Door’s New Narratives Project which works with young people and families affected by serious youth violence.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team of talented clinicians dedicated to improving the lives of adolescents and young adults.
- We are recruiting a 0.6 (FTE) / 22.5 hours per week Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist or CBT Psychotherapist with third wave training and experience. We would also welcome applications from accredited Integrative Psychotherapists with a CBT specialism. They must be fully registered with the BPS, BABPC or HCPC.
- Salary: £46,000 – £51,000 (pro rata) permanent contract
Successful applicants are expected to work some after school hours.
