How to make an appointment
We take referrals over the phone so if you want to refer yourself, or another young person, please call us on 020 8348 5947. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and phone number and we will call you back.
During the call, we will ask you a few questions to help us assess which part of the service is most appropriate for you. We will then contact you within 6 weeks to offer you an initial appointment, either face to face or by phone, to think with you about your situation and how we can help. Your name will then be added to the appropriate waiting list.
During the initial appointment, we will check when you would be available to attend weekly sessions. It is helpful if you have some daytime availability because we have a very limited number of evening appointment times and the wait is longer for appointments after 4pm.
The average waiting time for regular appointments is currently between 6 and 9 months. When your name is at the top of the waiting list, we will offer you an appointment as soon as one becomes available at a time that works for you.
* For new referrals of 23-24 year olds, we are temporarily suspending our waiting list due to high demand and funding issues. This will not affect young adults already on the waiting list. We apologise for this and are working hard to ensure that our full service for young adults is restored as soon as possible.
