Open Door was thrilled to be chosen by Alexandra Park School, as their charity of choice for the First Give competition. A group of Alexandra Park School students will give a presentation about Open Door and compete against other groups, for grant money of £1,000. This money would allow for 40 young people to be seen for 6 sessions each.

Students were encouraged to think about mental health and wellbeing in the teenage years and took part in a lively interactive session. It is so helpful to hear the views of young people about these issues and we thank them all for their honesty and openness. We are excited about the final at the end of January, and to working alongside the students on future projects.
